About the Artist
Claudia Johnson is a singer-songwriter who was based in NY for 24 years and here in Milwaukee for the last 13. She has written and produced two original music projects. “Indestructible”(completed in 2002) and “Nothing But Time” is an EP released in Feb 2018. Her upcoming third, “Good Enough”; was written and produced here in Milwaukee with Kyle White. The first single “All Roads” was released on March 13th. All the upcoming releases will roll out one at a time over the next 9 months culminating in the full release. Claudia has performed around Milwaukee with a full band in various iterations, her current band is a trio with drummer Eliana Alcocer and guitarist Chris Newlin.
All 3 musicians are incredible writers and performers in their own right. Having worked together in other projects it felt natural for the 3 to come together for this project and reimagine some of the older original arrangements and find a unique approach to Claudia’s music. Her music is an eclectic mix of alternative rock, pop and contemporary singer songwriter styles, and represents various musical influences. The three together have created an organic and intimate approach to the music.
