About This Event
We invite our Museum community, neighbors, partners and friends to celebrate the year and the beauty found in in the everyday with the free opening reception for "Everyday Elegance: Finding Beauty in the Ordinary" in The Hall at the Allis on Thursday, Dec. 19 at 5 p.m. This community painting exhibition explores the intersection of beauty and still life, inviting local artists to find grace and meaning in everyday objects and moments.
Attendees will enjoy:
- A cash bar with festive drinks and complimentary wine, beer, and light snacks.
- Holiday wreath making workshop with our Artist-in-Residence, Hattie Grimm
- Music by DJ Gemini Gilly

Charles Allis Art Museum is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization enriching Milwaukee’s quality of life by creating opportunities for residents and visitors to experience history, culture, and the arts, in particular by offering vibrant exhibitions and performances in a stately and intimate urban mansion, which permanently houses the art collection of Sarah and Charles Allis.
